WhizHack Technologies and IIT Jodhpur Launches Cyber Program For Teenagers
NEW DELHI: WhizHack Technologies, in collaboration with IIT Jodhpur TISC (Technology Innovation and Start-up Centre), has launched India’s first Multi-leveled Teenager Program, which is specifically designed to inspire teenagers to combat online attacks while also paving a career path in the Cyber Security Industry – one of the fastest-growing global industries with a 0% unemployment rate.
WhizHack aims to transform the paradigm of learning by pioneering the provision of virtual laboratories and India’s most prestigious TISC IIT-J certification to students who successfully complete the training programme.
As part of a unique learning experience they can participate in from home, teenagers around the country will be able to crack codes, patch security problems, and analyse the trails left behind by cyber thieves.
The course’s first level is the Cyber Ninja Awareness Program, in which children learn about cyber hygiene and opportunities. Cyber Samurai is specifically developed to pave students’ career choices, and the last Level – Cyber Guru Advanced Program – is a comprehensive learning programme that prepares children for the workforce.
The three-tiered training will include self-paced modules supplemented by live mentoring and doubt clearing sessions by industry professionals, as well as access to live simulation labs to provide the students with hands-on experience. Students who pass the first tier will obtain a Certificate of Completion from WhizHack Technologies, while those who pass Cyber Samurai and Cyber Guru will receive a Certification from IIT-J TISC.
The programme is an endeavour to promote cyber security training at the school level for the benefit of children’s futures and society, as reliance on the digital environment grows.
WhizHack Technologies is India’s first vertically integrated cyber security firm, developing security software, delivering managed security services, and developing training programmes for a variety of industries. WhizHack and IIT Jodhpur have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a new Centre of Excellence (CoE) for advances in Cyber Security, AI, and IoT. It has also formed strong scientific collaborations in strategic domains with top intellectual institutions in Israel, the United States, Canada, the European Union, and Israel.
